Procurement Module :
Once a work order is created. Companies can either place a ready goods order to a vendor or place the order for raw materials. The procurement module tracks this process. It includes the following features:
| Ready Goods Order : |
Ready goods orders can be placed with vendors, these can also be uploaded to the internet to enable vendors to download the purchase orders. |
| Fabric/Leather Raw Material PO : |
Users can also place raw material order for unprocessed fabric/ leather. These POs can be linked with the work orders and any modification in the work order gets automatically reflected in the requirement sheets. |
| Trims PO : |
Users can create PO for trims such as thread, lace, sequins etc. etc. these get verified against actual requirements to ensure the correct quantities are purchased. |
| Goods Receipt Note : |
Users can access the quality control reports of goods received to ensure that the goods that have arrived are what was ordered. |
| International POs : |
All purchase orders support multiple currencies and can be created to conform to international business requirements (such as duties, customs documentation etc.) |

The production planning and control module allows users to do fixed capacity planning, determine machine utilization, perform planned vs. actual production.
It includes the following features :

Users can setup multiple manufacturing lines and specify types of machinery in each line. Then planned production styles can be " drag and dropped " onto these lines. The software will identify the production bottle-necks and alert if any delays are happening. |
| Vendor Production : |
Vendor production information can be uploaded through an interface file and analyzed for any problems. |
| Raw Material Consumption : |
Raw material consumption against any work order can be tracked at each stage of the production process to determine any deviations in consumption from the standards. |

The software identifies the critical path for the production process and sends out alerts if there is any slippage. |

So apart from the regular financial accounting features such as GL, P&L, Balance sheet, Aging etc. - APPS™3i has linked each activity in the organization with accounts. Users can create cost centers that reflect the structure of the organization and information gets interfaced with accounts using this structure. Budgets can be created style-wise, work order wise, department wise, activity wise. This flexibility provides a powerful tool for analyzing the financial impact of each process in the organization.
